On June 4th, 2020, it was announced that the zoo proposed to have a 50 cent increase on tickets as well as new membership plans to go into effect on January 2nd, 2021. The zoo hasn’t raised the ticket prices since 2016, and the city council must approve what the zoo is proposing.

Adults/Children 13-64 - from $7.50 to $8
Senior Citizens 65+ - from $5.75 to $6.25
Military - from $4.75 to $5.25
Non-residential - $1 to $1.50 (does not apply to people in the military)
Group Rates - no increase
Membership Packages
Zoo Two (2 people for unlimited visits) - $45
Zoo Three (3 people unlimited visits) - $55
Zoo Six (6 people unlimited visits) - $85
Zoo Seven (7 people unlimited visits) - $125
Senior Zoo Six - from $60 to $75
Zoo officials also want to bring in more packages, like supporter, patron/business, and sustaining packages.
Individual membership packages would also go up from $35 to $40.
