Unfortunately i cant upload the photo on here it seems but i wonder if someone can help me please with naming a bird species from Chester Zoo.
The photo I have taken is of a Black Vulture? which is near to where the bridge is. In the photo a smaller bird is seen attacking the vulture. It has a black black top of head and white underneath. The body is a light brown or creamy colour. I know its not much to go on but hopefully someone can put a name to it for me.

I am surprised, I've kept Azure magpies in a mixed aviary with no problem's at all

Azure-winged Magpies have been kept with European Black Vultures at Chester Zoo for many years.

The largest tank in the aquarium has been renovated, to display species from Lake Chilingali- including the Extinct in the Wild Lethrinops chilingali, in much larger numbers than previously displayed, as well as the "Chambo", Oreochromis squamipinnis.
Damba have moved behind the scenes.

Apparently the Snow Leopards are arriving at Easter that’s as much as they have said as far as I understand

I can't remember. I've got a photo of the refurbished tank though that I'll upload later.

Anyway, I visited today. Main thing I noticed is the bush dogs are gone and the indoors is now used for the Andean bear which gave me a bit of a shock when I walked in. Does anyone know if the bush dogs have left the zoo or are just off show?

Progress on building throughout the zoo is looking good, snow leopard enclosure looks pretty much done now!

Nice to see the new baby chimp and to see all four tigers was a rare treat!

I’m unsure with Lima, however Bernie is still expected to leave at some point in the coming months.
