Anyone know when the bush dogs moved to SotJ?

A few weeks ago, while renovations to their existing enclosure are completed.

Other news, there are at least two giant otter pups.

I'll be visiting over the next two days and I'm pretty good on what I want to see and where it is, but are the Boelen's pythons on-show anywhere? And are the pademelons still in two different enclosures, in Islands and by the giraffes?

Boelens - last time I visited these were in RotRA.

Pademelons - in Islands and in the old anteater/kangaroo exhibit.

YES!!!!! They were off-show last time I visited and I really want to see them.

Correct, though you'll probably have a lot more luck with the ones in Islands.

I really want to see the muntjacs as well so will probably (depending on deer cooperation) spend a fair bit of time up there anyway.

Anyone got any tips on when's the best time to see the anteater active? And do they still have jumping rats in with the aye-ayes? Got a very frustrated child who needs to see an anteater apparently, and who also misses the jumping rats at BNC...

Yes the Jumping Rats are still mixed with the AyeAye's. The Giant Anteater - try first thing in the morning and then towards the end of the day if you don't see it first thing

Of course I have, I've taught her well. And she decided to do the zoo on both days after being given the choice...

And staying on topic, we didn't see the jumping rats at Chester.

Now that Indali Hi-Way the elephant calf has fully recovered from EEHV,is she now immune to the virus and not likely to fall ill with it again? If this is the case in a few years Chester could be home to two breeding Asian Elephant cows,providing that Aung Bo is sent to another animal collection.

The planning application for Grasslands goes Infront of the council a week on Tuesday I believe, a few issues have been raised but hopefully will be resolved and planning granted, stoping any delays.
