Chester Zoo Game

I hope I can do this (guess three times in one post):
All as Bluebird

Hyancinth Macaw?

Lilac-breasted Roller?

Blue-crowned Laughing Thrush?

Thrice wrong, but interesting again (I confess I just had to look Bluebird up, as I'd never heard of her before!).

To be honest nor have I :p (got it from Wikipedia).

Another guess...

African Hunting Dog as Ace the Bathound?

Scimitar-horned Oryx as Onyx?

Scottish Wildcat as Wildcat?

Montserrat Oriole as Black Canary?

Humboldt Penguin as that Penguin guy?

Sorry, all wrong! Three from the wrong Class. The penguin is probably the closest to the correct answer, but not because of the explanation given, more because of its aquatic nature.

I'm convinced its a bird, but here's an idea;
Spectacled Caiman because its aquatic, related to batman because of killer croc and its long as mentioned in the first clue?

(I hope I'm right!)

Wrong again! It's definitely a bird, but you're sort of on the right track. I will add that the lengthy creature referred to in the riddle is, however, not a bird - or indeed a caiman!
