There were Oryx in the paddock at lunch time yesterday or today i cant remember which,

could be they are putting u new signage, in the style of the aye aye photo and these will be they style all over the zoo, i havent heard anything about the oryx moing on..... i hope not.

The Livingstone's signage has been replaced with another in the same style as the existing ones for Rodrigues/Seba's - the new sign specifically refers to there being two species in the exhibit.

Good to see oryx still knocking about, though sadly I think this species is being run down at Chester.
 
The remaining Livingstone Bats (they were down to 3.0) were moved to France towards the end of 2015

All but 0.2 elderly female scimitar-horned oryx have been exported, the zoo is going out of the species.
 
Anyone know what is currently living in the old warty pig enclosure?

It was described to me as a donkey deer, lol.
 
Can anyone help with what species of Birds are currently free flying in the Tropical House and what bird species are there in the Islands Exhibit will be visiting within the next week with a group of disabled children many thanks in advance.
 
The chevrotains have moved to the aviary housing the orioles in Dragons in Danger.

Monsoon forest has

scissorbilled starling

in the aviary you will see
Rothschild's mynah (Bali starling)

in the cassowary enclosure there are cassowary.
