Chester Zoo Chester zoo - natural vision

It's just for canal boats, it was first proposed at least 20 years ago.

They did have canal boats 20 years ago. Didnt they???

Nothing fancy but l was sure they were there.

I think Rob is referring to actual Canal boats which travel on the UK's waterways rather than Chester Zoo's in-house boats

Dolphins, killer whales and Belugas anyone? mabey some walrus and some sealion?

i would love to see chimps, bonobos, gorillas, bongo, okapi, congo buffalo, some forest antilope, mangabys, colobus, diana and de brazza monkeys (mabey those last 4 monkey species could be free roaming?, drill, mandrills, reptiles and some free flying birds
Can you PLEASE stop posting such stupid NONSENSE in what is a serious thread.

ive decieded that the sealion enclosure at the zoo is one of the best in the country and should stay.

Thank GOD you`ve decided that the enclosure is one of the best in the country the Zoos senior management can all get a goodnights sleep now they have cat-mans approval of the enclosure, personnaly i think you couldn`t be more wrong as i think its one of the worst enclosures in the zoo at the moment,as for the master plan i have only seen the first one they showed to the members at the AGM when it first came about so it could have changed by now!

will the chimpanzees and gorilas be mixed together and in the same enclosure as other animals when the heart of africa?

Or very strange looking ape offspring ;)
That would never work though, Chimps are too aggressive.

I would bet that the silver back would kill a few chimps first. I would doubt that the chimps could do much otherthan go on the defensive.

i only asked as that was the impression i got from watching the video of the planned heart of africa exibit. i wonder what they have planned?

That was a bit misleading, guess it's just a way to show what species it will contain in less time on the video. I think they'll probably have Colobus or something mixed with the Gorillas/Chimps.
