My guess is it might be for the last litter of kittens who are grown now. I don't recall the zoo ever moving them. The new kittens are in the original exhibit.
Unfortunately I was visiting with some young family members yesterday, and they didn't seem keen to stop for me to snap photos

As someone who prefers to use cash when possible, it is immensely frustrating to see many zoos move away from physical currency. I'm all about options and I don't see how going cashless will make anybodies visit smoother or more fun. “It’s environmentally friendly” is what they always say but in reality it’s probably cheaper and there are way more more options than that excuse.
Environmentally friendly in what way? New currency will continue to be printed regardless of what they do, and will be unless we all switch to crypto or something (which would arguably be even worse for the environment than physical currency).
Meant for the map part, but the only reason that Columbus is switching is that it’s very easy to manage than money, id soon expect to see paper bills go away and just be credit cards.
That plus taking photos with my phone has it dead half way through my visits half the time lol

Yes both are phased out. Both bison have passed away and the remaining proghorn was sent to The Wilds. Both species won't be returning for the foreseeable future.
Will the pronghorn be on exhibit at the Wilds?
He's been at The Wilds for over a year now and afaik he isn't on exhibit.
