On October 27th, the zoo announced they acquired a (1.0) reticulated giraffe named Jasiri from the Lee Richardson Zoo in Kansas.

On November 7th, the zoo announced that they acquired (1.2) red river hogs named Harold, Harriet, and Phoebe. Phoebe will soon join up with the zoo's other red river hogs Rhonnie and Garnet, while Harold and Harriet will be together as a breeding pair.

On November 15th, it was announced that a (1.0) Komodo dragon named Hannibal was transferred to the Greensboro Science Center in North Carolina on November 8th.
