My local zoo is Zoo Amersfoort, my plan is to keep you updated the upcoming months/years with building updates about Zoo Amersfoort. I hope you'll enjoy it.

At first the red-bellied lemur and crowned lemur are back at the maki island at the back of the park.

Then in Snavelrijk there's a fence build around the pelicans lake. In my opinion to prevent the pelicans from snapping the visitors. It's quite ugly.

At the moment they're working at the old ruffed lemur exhibit. 1 April is the openingsdate.

The painter was doing some paint jobs around the Siamang exhibit. In my opinion this kind of education is quite cool.

Also in the back of the park were some building activities for the upcoming expansion. The ''dinostormbaan'' is removed, and most of the trees got tree protection.

The plans for the upcoming expansion have been revealed. A new area called ''Het Woud'' (or ''The Woods'' in English) will house wolves, badgers and various other small species such as rabbits and dormice.

For several weeks Amersfoort made public that they wanted to start Panda keeping and that the animals would went on show on April 1. Most people thought it being a April fools day joke but today really 2 Panda ( red ones, no Giant ) went on display - 2 brothers :).
