Do people carry guns in zoos in the USA?

Also it is shown not as a sign of death but a sign of power. In American culture many people seen with guns are seen as powerful people who can handle powerful weapons.
Yes there are loads of confused emotions and needs expressed in America's gun culture that go way beyond the agrarian culture of hunting. Powerlessness is a huge factor. There is the political use of fear of crime, and thus there is a history of racism, there is certain groups feeling less important over the past 50 years and compensating by firing big weapons, there is the political use of that inadequacy, there is, above all, the NRA.
Where the French or Italians take to the streets as they have for centuries, Americans take up guns... as they have for centuries.

Ok let me making it easier. Why does England still have the Queen. She no longer holds any real power. She is still there and people still adore her because they always have had a Queen. It’s what they have been raised with. That is how Americans feel with guns. Also it is shown not as a sign of death but a sign of power. Well, the queen doesn't kill people on a daily basis. Sure, there's too much money spent on her and her castle, but schools don't need queen-proof backpacks

Thats not the point. The point is that these are both very old parts of countries that are still being held onto even though it would be better for the public if we got rid of them.

Here is a photo of mine that I took at the entrance of Houston Zoo on July 25th, 2015:

Thanks for sharing, I never knew how widespread this was and for some reason thought it would only be a few states so this is quite illuminating and quite disturbing too.

The zoochat ad algorithm now has me figured as a "US patriot" as I'm getting advertisements for annual NRA membership from only 30 dollars which includes a rather rugged looking NRA official merch tactical backpack too.
Do keep in mind there is a difference between if you can carry a gun and if you can legally kill with it. The stand your ground law allows for people to legally kill someone in public if confronted even if they don't absolutely need to. This is a map of every state that has this kind of law.

Also yes the NRA uses many tactics to get people to join them like funding politicians.

Is anyone else getting these pop up NRA ads ?
Any time I google or look into buying anything it affects my zoo chat ads. for some reason, I am currently being advertised flea medicine.

God, this sounds so dystopian, I bet it leads to a lot of needless deaths occurring annually over seriously banal causes.

Imagine if you had a state run protection that enforces the law, then you wouldn't need a gun....

Although the way it is done over there it seems a waste of tax payers money.

Pretty embarrassing that a law center is so geographically ignorant that they place Arkansas (AR) in Arizona (AZ)! :(
