Does any continent-themed area at your zoo display an animal not native to said continent?

It seems like the shorter list is what zoos have 100% accurate geographic exhibits. Also I think some are splitting hairs on things like Amur leopards in an African themed area. Sometimes only certain subspecies are available and they can serve as stand ins.

The Detroit Zoo isn't very careful about this. The pronghorn is in the South American exhibit, for example.

Yep, just read the multiple examples I gave earlier in this thread. This may be partially because though the animals have always been loosely organized by biogeography, it seems to be only in the past decade that they made this official. At least, it wasn’t until 2015 that I remember the African Grasslands, African Forest, Asian Forest, and American Grasslands being distinctly marked with separate colors on the zoo’s map.
