Dudley Zoological Gardens Dudley Zoological Gardens in 2010

The meerkats in the mongoose enclosure are the ones from the first lot of young this year.
There are 3 males in the enclosure they are being kept in there for a short time as they are on the move to another collection very shortly.
The Mongoose are still in the enclosure as the indoor part as three sections and the Meerkats are being kept in the third part and Mongoose in the first part as these are natural enemies in the wild.
OnSarah as the notice says they are keeping her indoors during the extreme weather due to her age but I will ask the head keeper if she is alright and post it here on my return

This now makes 16 that have left the collection with over 80 still left must have been another good breeding season this year then

Just noticed that the new website is up and running, but if you go to it from the galleries page it will say that the website as not been found if you just press home tab then it will redirect you to the new home page
It is a slight improvement on the old website with more information on the animals and what they do at the zoo

Camels arriving in April.
Not sure where from anyone got any ideas.
