That makes sense about the lack of monkeys in the Bush. But I wonder how Omaha manages to have many free-ranging monkeys in the Lied Jungle. One of the magical experiences in Omaha's LJ is having a little tamarin on the railing, just a meter or so away from you, with no barriers.
I also understand about the manatees. Despite no underwater viewing, they were nevertheless very popular, drawing quite a crowd. There was a keeper in the water with them, feeding them.
