The black-footed ferret should still be on-exhibit, it just almost never comes out of its tunnel.Hi all. Visited the zoo today (first time in around a month) and have some updates for cool stuff I saw.
1: The sloth building is looking amazing. I saw it from the inside on my last visit but they had the glass down so you could see the birds from the outside. I really could only see the scarlet ibis but the exhibit is wonderful.
2: The Lowland Paca were off exhibit due to veterinary care. I find these guys really really charming so I hope they are okay!
3: The black footed ferret was still off exhibit or at least I couldn't see him. Im not sure if I am unlucky or it hasnt been on exhibit but im super bummed out! Really want to knock that species of my species list.
4: Birds were largely all out save for the ducks. Rhea were out and about as were the Nene.
Elmwood seemingly has a bright future and may become my go to spot over Lehigh Valley.
