I like alot of newer songs, I especially like Lady GaGa (Would pay alot to see her in concert)
Those were the days , Dan my dear friend , those were the days , when Music actually was Music , I also was and still am a big fan of Joy division , i even made a trip north whilst i lived in the united kingdom to visit the grave of Ian Curtis he was the voice of all of our alienation and fears ,Siouxsie and the banshees are still my favourite band as they have been for a good few decades or more and i am still very much in love with that wonderful woman siouxsie sioux and her music as i have been for many years
We really do seem to share a lot of common ground as far as music is concerned, Jose!
However, be careful putting modern music down (like you did in your first post), amigo! It might be that you are just getting to ooooooold!
Interesting and touching that you went as far as to visit the grave of Ian Curtis! I don´t know how many nights I spent around 1980 listening to Joy Division until sunrise, playing the same songs over and over again; my particular favorites being "A Means To An End", "She´s Lost Control" and "New Dawn Fades".
Just out of, perhaps morbid, curiosity: was there graffiti all over Ian´s grave, like on Jim Morrison´s grave in Paris?
Eminems latest album is amazing, the Black Eyed Peas are amazing, so is Lady Gaga and so is Rihanna. End of. Maybe abit of Florence and the Machine.
Are you serious? BEP, gaga and rihanna are commercial mainstream crap. There's no argueing about taste, but calling these artists amazing just shows you should listen to a lot of not-mainstream music, where you can hear real music, made by real artists.
