They no longer have Egyptian Geese, according to the zoo's website.

Names and individual counts are not my specialty, sorry.
The zoo no longer holds Wolf’s Guenon as well. Addax were phased out from Africa due to problems on the Savanna. The zoo has one Egyptian Goose behind the scenes that is older and won’t go out on the savanna again. Every species that has been removed from the savanna has some sort of issue getting along.

I did like how the guenon and colobus exhibits Ahmad been combined into one larger and more natural exhibit though. I noticed the change a year or two ago.

Sign the Petition
This is one of their petitions, and they try to portray a picture of an elephant training session as an elephant being trapped in a cage. But overall I’m not really surprised. I can’t believe that this is what they do with their free time!!

Fresno Chaffee Zoo has a very nice elephant exhibit, and it’s fairly new also (2015). Clearly these people need to find stuff to do in their free time that isn’t spreading lies.

As someone who actually saw the Fresno Chaffee Zoos elephant exhibit, it is one of the best elephant exhibits I think in the country. They take such good care of them there.

The newest construction update on Kingdoms of Asia. Based on what I’m seeing here, I’m not sure how likely a March opening will be. Hopefully it does, but you never know.

Knowing this, any idea of when it will officially open? I feel like the zoo should’ve been better at updating the public on when this exhibit opens.

We probably won’t know for sure until the rains cease, its one of the factors that can stall construction projects. So they probably can’t give us an update, I’m very curious as to when it opens too as I want to do a first time visit and shoot the entire zoo when I do :)
