Actually, just reading through other comments, I became interested in animals at the age of 2, which was indeed the first time I visited a zoo. My love for animals seems to end at around 5. Then at the age of ten, it all kicked of again! Conservation was my main interest, I was always wanting to donate to Chester and other charities.

Now, I have calmed down a little (a little) and plan to carry on my interests into a life long obsession!
 
I am 52. Visiting zoos is great for the mind and body as you grow older. It reminds us that we are not alone on this planet. May all young persons on zoochat defend animals and wildlife in the difficult times of enviromental neglect that lie ahead.

Haz im older than you by exactly a month and for those who are wondering who the youngester female member is than that is Becki aged eleven and is twelve on Thursday:)
My obession with animals started when i was 3 i always used to visit my Grandma's caravan in Blackpool the first animal i ever saw was a Amur Tiger Jagasar i hope to continue talking about Animals on this website and also hope to donate to alot of Zoological Charities:p
