If I recall, Georgia had 8, so they should have 6 left. As far as I'm aware no attempts to breed the Great Hammerhead Sharks were made. It would be difficult as I'd imagine any pups might be eaten by the Tiger Sharks they share the habitat with. SeaWorld has two males now, so no breeding for now at least, I do know that the AZA wants more captive breeding of sharks, as a critically endangered species I hope breeding the species is considered.With this transfer to SeaWorld Orlando, how many great hammerheads are in Atlanta? Also, were there ever any breeding attempts involving the animals at SHARKS! Predators of the Deep?
