The red tailed boa is a subspecies of the boa constrictor. The normal boa constrictor is more common in european Zoos than the red tailed boa.

The Burmese Python is often kept by european Zoos. The are a invasive Species in Florida. Some Zoos keep Pythons that escaped from their Owners or are released in to the Wild and later captured and given to the Zoo.
