...or to Australasia - we need them more than the USA!
I would of liked for NAZF to send the male they have away (The question is where?) and bringing a new pure bred Reticulated in but I doubt that very much.
.So now when anyone visits Noahs they can see hybrid Giraffes and zebras all in the same paddock, cannot think of anywhere else in the UK that can make that claim!!!!
I believe AA keep their pure breed Giraffes (Reticulated) seperate from the hybrids to prevent what has happened here.
Suffolk Wildlife Park maintain a pure herd of Chapman's Zebra, and do not have any Hybrid Zebra within the collection,so my comment stands that Noahs have the only Hybrid Giraffes and Zebras in the UK in the same enclosureI think Africa Alive can claim hybrid Giraffes and Zebra in the same paddock, unless they have in more recent months moved on the hybrid individuals (anyone?)

Not a problem I could have made my post a bit more clear in what I mean't.Ah, I see now!!
I initially read your first post as hybrid giraffes and zebra, as in zebra species!!.
Yet more great news that the Giraffe studbook didn't want!!Another hybrid Giraffe born if the place wants to be taken seriously it has got to start,by not breeding hybrids so that they can be phased out in favour of all places being able to keep a pure species of Giraffe!Baby Giraffe born at Noah's Ark | West Country (E) - ITV News another giraffe calf has been born
The calf is another boy and has been named GusGenny has given birth to her third calf at Noahs Ark
The bull died. I believe the male calves are still there. Dudley described this male as going to a 'bachelor group' so I think they are still there. It would obviously be better if their mother, the pure Reticulated female, could now be allowed to move to a pure group. Can anyone tell me what happened to the three male calves and the bull Gerald?
