well number three looks like a thrasher, so I'll try sage thrasher even though it doesn't look streaky enough (perhaps one with worn plumage?). I guess that could be a sage bush to the left.....
#1 -- I missed the yellow throat (I thought it was the leaves), so is it a yellow-throated warbler?
well that's got to be worth double points then!!Yes! You have correctly identified the plant. The bird however, is no thrasher.
there's a nice one on Opus: Lewis's Woodpecker - BirdForum OpusIturi said:...honestly I have yet to see a photo that does a Lewis's Woodpecker justice. They are brilliant in real life!

I don't know if that photo does it justice, but I reckon that's a bird that would cause me to go to America. Are they difficult to find?
Since I'm away from home and don't have access to my zoo photos, let's do something a wee bit different. Shouldn't be too difficult.
Say's phoebe for number three?
I thought it might have been a hint, and I my immediate idea was "oh, Audubon's warbler" because I was sure I'd heard of such a bird. Unfortunately the warbler list I was checking through calls it a yellow-rumped warbler and I didn't get that in comparing the photos of that on Google Images with your photo.Ding ding ding! It's a Say's Phoebe.
And by the way, my insult about number one, was a clue in disguise.![]()
