Have had them since at least April 2023. They brought one out for the snake show when I visited

Yeah, I've seen the species there in the reptile house. I don't recall which year.Have had them since at least April 2023. They brought one out for the snake show when I visited
Burhinus grallarius, that should be.
- Bush Stone-curlew (Burton's grallarius)
Did you manage to confirm if they were wild gudgeons? I visited today and they are everywhere! I used your advice and headed straight to the slender bluetongue and managed to see it well. What a great little creature.Australian Snakehead Gudgeon (Giuris aporocephalus) - I'm unsure whether these are actually captive or wild fish that just happen to be on zoo grounds. In a pond on the other side of the boardwalk from the first cassowary enclosure
I haven't contacted Harley's about the gudgeons. Excellent you saw the slender bluetongue, did you get photos? If so, they would be the first of the species in the ZooChat galleries. Is the tropical bird aviary open again yet?Did you manage to confirm if they were wild gudgeons? I visited today and they are everywhere! I'll contact them and if I get a response I'll let you know. I got a few wild gudgeons spotlighting across into the Daintree last night; I think they were the same species. The slender bluetongue photos will be in the gallery in a few days.I haven't contacted Harley's about the gudgeons. Excellent you saw the slender bluetongue, did you get photos?
