In the recent Member Magazine it mentions that Red Pandas will be coming back to the zoo. A new exhibit is being built near Asian Highlands. In the magazine there is a rendering for the exhibit and it is supposed to open late spring 2018.

I believe they are still within AZA standards if they are actively seeking to have 3 elephants and they are able to house that number.Does anyone know whether the zoo will be getting another elephant to meet the standards of AZA. Or if they will artificially inseminate Christie again?
