I have just found this forum and I joined immediately as I have been interested in zoos since I first visited Chester (almostly 50 years ago
).
I still visit Chester regularly and I have also enjoyed visits to several other British zoos this summer. I particularly like Edinburgh, Twycross and Port Lympne as I am very interested in primates. I didn't make it to Howletts this year, to my regret.
I always have my camera with me and I try very hard to get decent photos of the animals, so I will upload a few to the Gallery soon. Here are a couple of recent sample shots, an Alaotra gentle lemur at Marwell (I had to show you that one) and 'Noel', the crowned sifaka at Port Lympne - the first one I have ever seen.
I think I'm going to enjoy it here
