One of my school districts is closing until April 14. Once again had to learn from the news, god forbid they keep the subs informed of what's going on. So I expect the other district to make a similar decision soon. Guess I'm applying for a grocery job! When's that free money bill gonna come through?
April 14, if they really come back then that's a lot of missed school. I wonder what point there's just too much of a sunk cost and it's not worth opening up the school. Like, by that point, kids have missed over a month of school. It's going to be a struggle to get them back in the routine, they have to go over a lot of stuff, and their behavior isn't going to be very good not only because of this big disruption, but because school is going to be over in a month anyway.
