How I forgot to include Kansas City Zoo is beyond meGood year for me in terms of zoo visits
Omaha's Henry Doorly Zoo (of course)
Rainforest Adventures Discovery Zoo (Was able to see common kusimanses)
Dollywood Eagle Sanctuary
Bright's Zoo (Able to see cape vulture, tayra, black back jackals, was not able to see civet)
Bays Mountain
Gulf Breeze Zoo
Those Zoos wereI visited 13 zoos this year (The most I've ever done in a year so far), with a total of around 20 visits overall. I might be able to get to one more by the years end, but we'll see how things play out.
I visited 8 collections including 5 that were new to me.
I didn’t leave the area around my town in northern Sweden at all for first half of the year so no zoo visits.
I got to visit some zoos once travel recommendations were relaxed in the summer and went to Järvzoo, Borås Zoo and Nordens Ark.
A summer visit to family in the Netherlands took me to Blijdorp, Sea Life Scheveningen, Kerkrade and across the border to Antwerp.
I also went to Edinburgh Zoo towards the end of the year.
Because I'm bored and I've only just realised I didn't actually put down a full list here it is -Now with notebook in hand I can give a rundown of where I visited -
26 visits to 21 collections, all in England unsurprisingly. Double-ups were Chester, Hamerton, Dudley, and three visits to Birmingham WCP. New collections were Chew Valley, Tropiquaria, Tropical Birdland (Desford), Yorkshire, Birdland (Bourton On The Water), Johnson's, and Exotic Zoo (new site, visited the old one previously).
