Always a fun exercise, thanks for the thread!
I managed to visit 21 zoos in 2022, 13 of which for the first time (in bold) across 4 different countries. I added over 30 mammal lifers from these visits- a feat that's getting harder and harder. I also brought my zoo total to 291, only 9 away from finally breaking 300!

That’s an impressive list! What was the Weizmann Institute of Science like? I hadn’t heard of it before and it is difficult to find details about their animal collection online.
I tell a lie. I actually visited three new zoos in 2022. The third was Shaldon Zoo in Devon in the United Kingdom. This is almost certainly the smallest accredited zoo in the world and is only one acre (0.2ha) in area. Two places for the first time:
International Crane Foundation
Minnesota Zoo (was there for a meeting and only went through the aquarium, Tropical House and the native animal areas near the entry.
Visited Melbourne Zoo but that was for a program launch and only saw one New Holland Mouse.
