fishing cats can be hard to see, I'm not sure about golden cats, but why only one. Surely it is feasible for a zoo to hold both species? They aren't large animals, their exhibits are usually not very large and it would be possible for each zoo to have multiple pairs. They don't face the same quarantine issues as the ungulates so more can be brought in for new blood. If the hoof species are goinf to disapear ( and I beleive that it is only a matter of time before both giraffe and zebra go, both are way too inbred) we need something. We could be a world class area for Specialising in the feline and canis species.
