Identify A Zoo Please

didn't try to do it for me either, maybe something else you had open tried to do it?.....no clue where that zoo is either

I found no issues with the web page that I could identify. Possibly you have some anti-spyware software that is getting upset about some of the 3rd party iframes in use on that site (which as far as I can tell are harmless - although very poorly designed in my opinion!) ??

Really surprised no one has identified this enclosure??

I also have no idea btw

Thanks SIM, been using avast for a couple of years and it hadn't warned me about anything before. This page and the link was all I had open so guess it must have been one of their adverts that had changed before anybody else checked it out.

Given the information, I assume it is in Southern USA... but it could be a theme park and not a zoo. And it could be anywhere from South Carolina to Florida to Texas to Arizona or California!

The link installed a virus on my computer that took hours to repair. The virus disables the security system and then proceeds to infect hundreds of objects. Leave it alone!

As it was I who posted the link...from a clean computer I find this very puzzling. I have clicked on the link again now and not had a problem. I would not dream of sending out a virus to anybody. My virus checker and killer are updated daily. The link was sent out directly to over five thousand zoo personnel worldwide. The only two virus claims (including yours) are vis ZooChat. I am sure there must be another explanation for the problem you experienced.

For what it's worth, I followed the link from ZooChat and had no problems at all.

I also followed the link with no problems (I'm also on Avast like Zebedee101). On a side issue, most people really hate websites that automatically play music.

Maybe the original question of ID-ing the zoo would get results on the USA board?

Thank you for the comment. Re the music...I just turn the volume down. Interesting to note though. The music is an experiment as I never had any on before. I have found that people stay longer on the site when there is music than previously. The same applies for the Zoo News Digest site. I will have to experiment further with different tracks and genre.

I chose 'General' to post as so many people travel these days. You may well be right though.

Thanks again.

The 'music' comments were just from non-scientific opinion-gathering in regards to my own music website; I use clickable youtube clips made by myself for that, incidentally, so visitors get to choose whether to listen or not. Can be bad if you're in an office & music unexpectedly blares out!

I don't know what happened with this, but the zoo in question looks like the Los Angeles Zoo. The exhibit in the background looks like the current Brown Pelican exhibit (former Sea Lion exhibit) in the children's zoo. The person in question looks like is inside the cave with the view of the pelican exhibit from behind the waterfall.

There's a part of the San Antonio Zoo that looks like this as well. Given that the suspect is from Brenham, San Antonio isn't that far away.
