The zoo now opens the dolphin pavilion (where the presentations are) for visitors to walk through in the advent that the bottom of the pavilion (where the dolphin dome and meeting room are) is rented out
They are going to be in the touch pool! They are currently in there right now and their names are Betty and WilmaI’m curious if they’ll go in the touch pool. I’m not sure I’ve seen them mixed with sharks before, only rays.
The tortoises have been recovered!An Egyptian tortoise and a Northern Spider tortoise were stolen from the zoo earlier this month and have still not been located yet.

Aside from her, Indianapolis have two other females who both last calved in 2012 (both producing un-surviving calves: Nova (1983) and Indy (2001).
Unfortunately it appears the calf did not survive.
This is a great positive change. I remember feeling slightly underwhelmed by the opening Oceans room (in a building I otherwise liked) and one of the biggest suggestions in my almost finished review was to say that a large shark or a sea turtle would punch the room up a bit, provided they had space.
