Hi all,
I've read many interesting posts & threads here for the past two or three years. And since I finally got tired of not being able to view all your wonderful pictures and so have registered, I thought I would provide a bit of relevant info.
My husband and I are long-time members and frequent visitors of the San Diego Zoo and the Los Angeles Zoo. In more recent years, we've also become members of the smaller but beautiful Santa Barbara zoo, and the Santa Ana zoo (aka the Monkey zoo), and the Monterey Bay Aquarium.
Other zoos I/we have visited in recent years: the Fresno Chaffee Zoo (Oct 2010), the Audobon Zoo & Aquarium in New Orleans (July 2010), the National Zoo in D.C. (2009), the Bronx Zoo, Central Park Zoo, & NY Aquarium (2008 & 2009), Denver Zoo (2008), Aquarium of the Pacific in Long Beach, Calif. (2008), the Adventure Aquarium in Camden, New Jersey (2007), and SeaWorld San Diego (2007 & 2010).
My name is a tribute to a favorite animal at the SD Zoo, who was formerly at the SDWAP.
Thanks for your time. I look forward to continue reading many interesting and informative posts, while enjoying your photos, too.
