Is there a date set for the opening of LAIR yet? I was going to sneak a visit to see it before winter break ended around MLK day, but I dont think that is going to happen.

There is still no set date for the opening of the exhibit. All the website says is that it will open in "Early 2012."
Any updates on the additional pronghorn that came in from Mexico 2 months ago?
The new AAA magazine "Via" (the northern California version, I read it at my parents house in Sacramento) says that the LAIR is already open, but it obviously isn't. Oops.
Hopefully there won't be lots of angry people showing up to see an unopened exhibit. I wish that they would announce an opening date, but maybe there are still too many things to finish to know when it will be.

Wow! I must have just missed this. As I came out of the South American section and made my way down the perimeter road, I saw two security guards questioning her at the entrance to Elephants of Cambodia. I was wondering what had happened, now it's clear.
