2 Snow Leopard cubs were sent to the Seneca Park Zoo. I had a chance to watch their feeding last week. They have the cutest, bizarre meow I've ever heard. A great addition to the small zoo.

Thanks for posting the news!

Yeah, I can confirm that 2 snow leopards were sent to Seneca Park Zoo.

Also, I'm very happy to hear about the birth of the harbor seal. I can't wait to see it.
Here is the press released by the zoo about the harbor seal pup:

Also, the squirrel monkey will eventually be exhibited in the roundhouse by the mountain tapir exhibit. I believe more squirrel monkeys will also be arriving at the zoo.

And I'm sure the Squirrel Monkeys will be future residents of the rain forest habitat. I was totally surprised about the birth of the Harbor Seal pup.

Nice photos of the Fennec Fox kits polar bear. And that would be about the right time of their birth. I wonder if we're only getting a selective list of animal activities?

I went to the zoo yesterday and there are some news. First of all, the new parking section is now open and the second section is getting ready for construction. Now for animal news, yesterday was the first day on exhibit for the new Squirrel Monkey male. The zoo does plan for females which should be arriving soon. Also, as I was leaving the zoo I noticed that there are three Francois' Langurs on exhibit. From what I know, the zoo acquired a father and son pair, but forgot which zoo, in exchange of the original Francois Langur male.

And it seemed the original Francois' Langur pair were bonding so well together. I wonder if the male was sterile? Thanks for the news Mario, its about time I visit my home zoo again, it has been several weeks now. I'm curious to see the latest progress on the new exhibits under construction.

Re the langurs, I think the original pair were brother and sister. But don't quote me on that. Anyway, I do know for sure that the original male went to the San Antonio Zoo in exchange for the father/son pair that's in there now.

Was he named after Saul Hudson AKA Slash former lead guitarist of Guns N Roses and big supporter of the LA Zoo.Slash was most recently involved in the Billy the Elephant campaign anyways just a thought.

Went to zoo yesterday and I have some news!

-The new female serval went on exhibit, but the exhibit was roped off to give her time to adjust. When I went to see her the male was very active marking all of his side of the exhibit and seemed very excited to finally have a girlfriend!

-Also, I noticed a new map with the Sarus Crane on the cover. The Sarus Crane exhibit is now included in that new map.
