Do you, or does anyone else know which females they have now? I've been watching Animal Park recently which showed 3 female koalas - Maisie, Violet and I'm not sure of the third one's name to be honest. Any info would be welcome.

I had a UK friend how did an encounter with them a couple of weeks ago she said they had 4 Koalas, Females Maisie, Violet and Dennis also Burke from Japan!

Notorious Dave the Timber wolf(known for his escape attempts) has been put down due to kidney stones. He had just turned 13 years old.

This leaves 1:0 Timber Wolf left and obviously the other pack of Eruopeans

I haven’t been to Longleat in many years so forgive my ignorance. Which of the packs is on the drive through?

The Europeans are on the drive through. The 3:0 timbers were moved to an off show paddock. Vic died in last 2 years? I think and now obviously Dave.

Does anyone know if jaseera and malaika are still around ?

Yes Malaika is now the oldest lion in the "new" pride Harry's and Jassera is eldest in the other main pride with her brothers Simba and Klaus. Well they were as of last year on Animal Park. Both are 16yrs now. They are in different prides as there was a natural split after their mothers died in 2014 & 2016.

To be fair the presenters appear to be more restrained in their emotions this series than in recent years…but there’s still a week of programmes to go!

Regarding elephants, does Longleat have long term plans post-Anne? I remember the African group before they had to move abroad due to costs, but there’s no doubt the park has the space.
