The name of the baby Gorilla seems to be just an aside in this short article. I believe this baby is female like Miliki's, but though its 8(?) months old now, Blackpool still don't seem to have made any official announcement about its name or sex.
Maybe it's a bit of a Namoki and they're not sure![]()

There should be a button on it that says 'translate' which is what I did. The translation is still a bit difficult to understand though. Is there an English version of the article ?
From reading this I fear 'Vimoto' may now be too far gone to be able to save him. It seems the female 'Rosi' is self-mutilating herself because of his condition, rather than having the same thing herself but I'm not quite clear there.
Here is a choice of my photos from Port Lympne Wild Animal Park.
Fingers crossed for Vimoto in Wuppertal! I've been following the news over the last days, and after the successful blood transfusion the veterinarians now are confident they can save his life.
Thanks for the link. Your photo of the notice about Djala's group move to Africa says one can look on their Facebook/Twitter to find out more about the new group of Gorillas that will replace them in the 'Palace of Apes'. But I can't see anything there about this yet.![]()
