Rotterdam Zoo is also looking for a social silverback. Maybe a role for Dishi!
 
And another question will Okanda stay in München or the two youngs will move and they get a new silverback
 
Does anyone have any thoughts on replacement males for both Rotterdam and Burger's Zoo Arnhem, where recently silverbacks Bokito and Bauwi have died respectively?

One possible candidate might be Shomari from Paira Daiza as he is currently kept alone and seperated from the two younger males in their male 'group.' Of course there are many other available mature males in other groups also.

Rotterdam have a year old baby(Ajabu) in their group which might delay the timeframe for a fresh male. I imagine Burgers may also wait until their young males have been seperated/moved out of their group.

The young males to join Dishi have been mentioned as joining him after the summer- 'one from England and one from the Netherlands'. The one from England could be; Lope(10 yrs) from Twycross, Baaku(10 yrs) from Belfast or even Gernot( coming up to 8 yrs by then) from London- or possibly a PL/Howletts male. But PL/Howletts have room at present to house any of their own upcoming males.

I think Shae may be the more likely? The Burger's young males are destined to go somewhere abroad as a group I believe?

Nakou is almost already 100% matured. He looks bigger than Dishi. I don't think they can live together. Anyway if I know well they keep the plan to send Nakou and his brothers to China.

An other candidate from The Netherlands could be the neutered male at Apenheul Jabari, 10 years of age. He is long waiting for a suitable place.

Jabari(Apenheul), Bembosi, Shambe, Douli (Artis), Lounango, Mosi(Gaia Zoo), Ajabu(Prague), Mapenzi (Beauval), Djomo, Mawete(Romagne) and the small boys in Nürnberg are castrated males. They are not able breed or live in bachelor groups.
 
To be honest I don't think Jabari, or Mosi would be good candidates for a breeding group since they both come from the original Apenheul line which is very over represented. It would have been different if Jabari was from Bao Bao.
