By Aridlands I mean the desert hoofstock house (I still call the mongoose area Desert Carnivores). The agama is still there. There are two more vivariums in the middle between the viewing windows for the two hoofstock areas. The crickets and locusts are in these vivariums.
I could be seeing this completely wrong, but from what I recall - the house is designed so that there are 4[??] separate stalls in all, which are used by either the gazelles or addax, or both on occasion.
So, if - and if - I am thinking correctly, this'd mean that the second and third centre stalls have been converted to vivariums?
If so, that's a lot of space for just insects !
On a separate note, would you happen to know how many tigers there are at Marwell currently?
The app has recently become updated so that it features an 'appy egg trail', for which it provides hints. One hint, which relates to a tiger, states that 'At Marwell there's one named Bagai!'
Though I recall that there were two tigers when I went? And Marwell still notes that they have a pair? Or maybe it is purely for a rhyme scheme, because the hint-poem begins,
"The next egg can be found nearby. // A big cat that will catch your eye." So maybe it's nothing to worry about ...
