Dear All
A fellow Bartlett Society (zoo history) member is co-authoring a publication about commemoration in relation to zoos and animal sanctuaries. He is interested in: -
a) memorials for keeping staff
b) memorials for animals that do not belong to the charismatic mega fauna
c) marked animal graves and or graveyards
We are not talking about busts of zoo founders and or statues of famous gorillas etc. but the more unusual and often more personal creations.
Any specific pointers and or possibly photographs would be great.
Regards, Paul M.
