Mixed species exhibit ideas

Could Tonkean Macaque and Babirusa work?
So upon further research this one no longer needs answering but thought of a new one that research didn't answer, so would Burmese Star Tortoises and Rhinoceros Hornbills be fine in a mixed exhibit?

Are mhorr gazelles compatible with giraffe or zebra in an average sized city zoo exhibit?

I saw springbok mixed in a "standard city zoo Afican savanna" but gazelles in general have a reputation of being panicky and sensitive.

Yes, I know mixes with all these species, but in large enclosures (2 ha), not available in every urban zoo in Europe.

Giraffes and mhorr gazelles or giraffes and zebras would probably work in a decently sized exhibit that could fit in a city zoo, but mixing the zebras and gazelles would probably not work in a smaller exhibit due to the aggressive nature of zebras.

Could a mix of Western lowland gorilla, Collared mangabey, Mona monkey and Red lechwe or a similar mix work in a large enough enclosure?

And, in a similar setup: Bornean orangutan, Sunda pig-tailed macaque, Siamang and Javan rusa

With a large enough exhibit maybe? The idea of mixing large terrestrial apes and hoofstock doesn’t sound like a great idea to me on paper (particularly talking about the gorillas here). I think gorillas have been mixed with other primates before, I’m not sure about any antelope, but it would make me a bit nervous.

Would something smaller like a Duiker, Dikdik or Springbok be better, or would that be just as risky?

Has anyone here suggested a Karoo-themed savanna enclosure? Mine's residents would include:
- Southern giraffe;
- Common eland;
- Springbok;
- Bontebok;
- White-tailed wildebeest;
- Gemsbok;
- Hartmann's mountain zebra;
- Common ostrich.
Could it work? Havana has giraffes, eland, springbok, gemsbok, zebras, and ostriches all living in a huge exhibit.

I think it would work, if you have an enclosure large enough and separate quarters for isolation of animals, especially if one or more species breed.

Could alligator gar be kept with any North American bird species, like water fowl? I was thinking an underwater viewing tank for the gar with land over it for water fowl.

Also, what about leopard sharks and brown pelicans together?

Could Lar Gibbons with Sumatran Orangutans be kept together? I’m creating an indoor rainforest for my fantasy zoo, and I just wanted to know if these two could work.

The exhibit would be HUGE, and have plenty of climbing opportunities. The gibbons would have an area that only they could access, by way of a thinner “vine”,(rope) that the orangs couldn’t walk on. The exhibit in question would also be surrounded by water.

Finally have the ability to post in this thread!
I have quite a few in mind,

1. African Penguins, Blacksmith, Halfmoon, Opaleye, and African Angelshark

2. Southern White Rhinoceros, Bontebok, Cape Mountain Zebra, Blue Crane, Southern Crested Guineafowl, Southern Ground Hornbill

3. Slender-Tailed Meerkat, Helmeted Guineafowl, Leopard Tortoise, Cape Porcupine, Kirk’s Dik-Duk, Blue Crane, Rock Hyrax, Red-Crested Turaco

4. Okapi, Black Duiker, Western Sitatunga, Black-Crowned Crane, Common Moorhen, Congo Peafowl, Violet Turaco, African Sacred Ibis, Plumed Guineafowl

5. Gelada, Bale Mountains Vervet

6. Florida Manatee, Alligator Gar

7. Wisent, Common Crane

8. North Andean Deer, Northern Crested Caracara

9. Sika Deer, Black-Faced Spoonbill, Mandarin Duck

10. Indian Elephant, Javan Banteng, Barashinga, and Greater Adjutant

3. Slender-Tailed Meerkat, Helmeted Guineafowl, Leopard Tortoise, Cape Porcupine, Kirk’s Dik-Duk, Blue Crane, Rock Hyrax, Red-Crested Turaco

Instant no, Meerkats are very opportunistic hunters and would kill the Guineafowl very quickly, and the Turacos wouldn't be very safe either.

4. Okapi, Black Duiker, Western Sitatunga, Black-Crowned Crane, Common Moorhen, Congo Peafowl, Violet Turaco, African Sacred Ibis, Plumed Guineafowl

This mix should be perfectly fine, and similar setups exist in Doue-de-la-Fontaine (hope I'm spelling that right...) and Blijdorp zoo

5. Gelada, Bale Mountains Vervet

I wouldn't trust Gelada with other monkey species

6. Florida Manatee, Alligator Gar

A very similar mix already exists in Burgers' zoo with no problem

2. Southern White Rhinoceros, Bontebok, Cape Mountain Zebra, Blue Crane, Southern Crested Guineafowl, Southern Ground Hornbill
7. Wisent, Common Crane
9. Sika Deer, Black-Faced Spoonbill, Mandarin Duck

Should be fine

8. North Andean Deer, Northern Crested Caracara

Fine in theory, but it seems like a very odd choice

10. Indian Elephant, Javan Banteng, Barashinga, and Greater Adjutant

Mixes with elephants and deer do exist, but are rare. I've never seen Elephant/Cattle mixes and I don't think it would be too successful

If I removed meerkats, would it be fine?
The cattle have access to the elephant paddocks as well as a separate paddock.
