Not really, it's risky due to the behavior and poison of cane toads and there is no biogrographical accuracyCan common chuckwallas be housed with cane toads?
I'm not sure I would say red foxes are great climbers, at least in the context of being able to predate or harrass other species.Porcupines descend to the ground all the time and foxes are great climbers.
I would avoid it, as it would be stressful for the horses, and maybe even for the Elephants. At the moment, I am currently planning for what is essentially, an Asian take on Omaha’s zebra-elephant mix. Therefore, I was just wondering if a select number of Asian Elephants could mix well with a non-breeding herd of Przewalski’s Wild Horses?
*in this scenario, would an all-female group work better over a bachelor herd?
At the Minnesota Zoo, 1.1 great horned owls and 0.0.1 red fox have been together successfully for the past few years. Previously, at least one great horned owl had resided with North American porcupines. Would all the species be capable of cohabitating together, or would complications likely arise between the fox and one of the porcupines? The fox is definitely a pretty small individual for the species, if that matters.

Would I be able to mix Jackdaws and European Magpies with much smaller birds like Eurasian Blue Tits, Golden Orioles, Eurasian Blackbirds and Bullfinches. That is if Jackdaws can be mixed with Magpies at all.
I agree, however, tried jackdaw, and magpie mix in a large aviary years ago, was nearly a disasterJackdaws and magpies would definitely prey on the eggs and/or young, if not the adults, of smaller songbirds, so that is not a suitable mix. Mixing jackdaws and magpies might however possible if the aviary is large enough and has enough structure and enrichment.
It could work if you mix the squirrels with pheasants or pigeonsOn a similar note, can said smaller birds be mixed with Eurasian Red Squirrels? This was quite an abstract idea that came into my head. Bare in mind this is a walkthrough aviary.
Would a mix of emperor tamarins and black howlers work on a big island work?
Would a mix of emperor tamarins and black howlers on a big enough island work?
Including some plants and/or climbing structures only suitable for the small monkeys might not be a bad idea.
I did check Zoorope’s list for red panda mixes, but I have a question specifically for geriatric individuals. Is it safe to mix elderly red pandas with any of these animals?:
Chinese muntjac does
Porcupines (any species)
and/or pheasants (I specifically have silver, golden, and Himalayan monal in mind)
