Piquita a wooly monkey gave birth a week ago. She already has a daughter, Ayla, and is caring for the new baby.
although, it was good to hear that there are no primates left in need of rescue, as they have dealt with them all already.
I presume this piece of information means that Monkey World currently have no plans on rescuing any more primates, rather that there are no primates whatsoever in need of rescuing from various corners of the globe?[/Q
no the keeper informed me that they had stopped the trade and all primates in need of resuce were already at monkey world! obvelously she was wrong as there are many that i can think of off the top of my head.
Does anyone have any further info on Piquita's new baby?
I thought it was two sets of twins with only one baby lost, unless another one has since died.
