Hi everyone.
Just like I did for the New Zealand leg of my trip, I need to start asking you about the places I'll be visiting in Australia in May 2026, to help me plan the trip.
A key part of planning is transportation, and for that, I need to know how much time is required for each place. My main interest is in Australian native species and photographing them, although I really want to enjoy every place and I photograph practically everything... With that in mind, let's start with Moonlit. How much time is needed to visit it? I've seen that they have several shows and I'd like to know if they're worthwhile, especially the reptile show, because we'll probably have to go to the Penguin Parade on Phillip Island in the evening and I'd like to arrive on time. The only reptile show is at 2 pm, and I'm not sure if that might be too late to get to the penguins on Phillip Island, although I don't yet know what time I should be there. My idea is to be at Moonlit Park as early as possible, but my flight from New Zealand to Melbourne arrives at approximately 8 am and I'd need to collect my luggage and rent a car...
