Go see Yesterday. Good film
I really want to see this, but unfortunately Spider-man comes out tomorrow and that takes priority unfortunately.

Land of the Lost
This was really dumb. Unfortunately I have a problem where once I start watching a movie I almost always have to continue to the end, possibly in the hope that it will magically become better. This movie did not. Released in 2009, it is based on an old tv series of the same name. I'm not sure if we got it in New Zealand - I don't remember it at all - but I googled it and the plot for the series was (surprisingly) exactly the same as that in the movie. Probably they should have changed it, because the plot was stupid. Will Ferrell is good in some movies and not so much in others. This was one of those others. The whole thing was unfunny, tiresome, and boring. I would recommend avoiding this one
I found Land of the Lost really entertaining, but only because it is so dumb
Which one? The film or the television series?
It's out tomorrow, expect my review tomorrow afternoon!![]()
Yeah, well Spider-Man didn't happen for, well, reasons... But Toy Story 4 isn't a bad replacement to watch. I thoroughly enjoyed this movie, and it's a proper Pixar movie with all the heart you'd expect from that company.
All your old favourites are back, but Mr Potatohead doesn't get much to say, and when he does you can tell it's a different voice actor, but Slink sounds spot on and gets a fair bit more dialogue. Tom Hanks and Tim Allen are fantastic as Woody and Buzz, both actors emotional voice performance carry the film above and beyond, Forky is a fantastic addition, as are Key and Peel as a conjoined bunny/chick toy, and it's great to have Bo Peep back as well. But stand out performance goes to Keanu Reeves as Duke Caboom, best addition to the Toy Story mythos ever.
This film has heart and soul galore, you can't even hate the villain of the piece too much once she explains her reasoning. If you don't get a little emotional at this movie then I don't think you have feelings... And stick around for the credits, definitely worth a watch!
I left the cinema feeling like part of my childhood had ended, but in a good way, not a Dumbo remake way. A commendable 8/10, not bad for a movie I'd written off as a cheap cash grab before seeing it.
That's strange, I put a spoiler box here that didn't show up. Anybody know how to d this?I don't want to get into spoiler territory that much but I will say that .
