@Hipporex very interesting thread en great that you keep up with all new described paleofauna so neatly.

Your post on the first neotropical protocetid is interesting to me, as I'm studying (not professionaly though) the forming of the Panamanian isthmus and it's influence on biogeography for quite a years now, so it's nice to know protocetids were able to migrate to the eastern Pacific through the archipelago of southern Central America.
