Have heard they may have a female arriving soon as they do already hold a pure male Rothschild Giraffe.But knowing West Mids the female will be mixed with all the males and not just kept with the pure male.

I am citing from past records (and not everything is set in stone). They had a male rothschildi called B.P. (mystery and wonder in naming .. a giraffe
from Dudley (but he has been at WMSP for ages since).
The original females (all hybrids .. no surprise) were Amy, Sally and in recent years Annabella joined from Marwell. The last calf - another hybrid - I believe was in 2008 called Lilly (by Sally). All females seemed to have evaporated into thin air.
The males remaining are: Winston, (Jasper), Strider (?), Henry and (Benhanzin). Those in brackets are off to YWP of course.
It will be interesting to see what they come up with next though!

Who is the pure-bred male then?

The pure male was moving from another collection in the UK,that houses just 2 males but it would seem he hasn't moved yet!
