I'm not convinced about the animal in the picture being a Persian Leopard. Persian leopards tend to be paler, with smaller more clustered rosettes on the flanks with, fading out and becoming more sparse near the belly. The animal in the picture is darker yellow, with large rosettes spread uniformly, more like jaguar.
Of course, I don't know when/if the Cincinnati Zoo had jaguars. Also, not all Persian leopards look alike, so it could just be variant pattern I'm not used to seeing.
