Should we add that male Mwimbe aged 2 and a half has been transferred from Yorkshire Wildlife Park to London Zoo? No formal notices of this (yet) but we identified him from photos as the new male at London Zoo.

The 4-year-old male okapi Laluk has moved from Zoo Berlin to Zoo Leipzig. Leipzig was already home to the 20-year-old female Ibina. Another female will move to Zoo Leipzig in the future.

The old bull Kimdu (died in 2024) has quickly been followed by a ereplacement bull from Zoo Berlin. I assume that the second female destined for Leipzig will be much younger?

Further, is female Ibina still viable and able to breed or is she post-reproductive?

Safari Park Dvur Kralove is trying to import a pair of okapis from Al Bustan Zoo in the UAE. So far, it is unsuccessful because of problems with export documents.

The annual report states they want to bring in "a male" also zoo is not specified.
