Interesting. Thankfully, more new blood to our already scarce stock. I just wonder where they will be kept...1.0 black and white ruffed lemur was sent from Zoo Olomouc to Cotia. And a female will arive from zoo Zagreb.

I don't think that Brazil is directly negotiating with China just for the country to get Giant pandas, since I'm very sure that our government has quite some priorities in mind other than the oreo-coloured bearsthere's also some rumors about brazil and china negotiating a couple of pandas for brazil and animalia is the strongest candidate to house them in brazil.
well, there are news about it, so who knows this may come true some day.I don't think that Brazil is directly negotiating with China just for the country to get Giant pandas, since I'm very sure that our government has quite some priorities in mind other than the oreo-coloured bears
But jokes aside, since Brazil and China's political alliance became much stronger this year, who knows? Maybe later this year we'll get the last remaning bear species to be kept in our zoos. But if that's the case, we already have the thread to discuss that: Pandas for Brazil!? [BioParque do Rio]
