I'm surprised to see the Puerto Rican Amazon is so rare in zoos. Are they harder to care for? What about the Hispaniolan Amazon?

Lincoln Park is the only holder. I don't think care is the problem (although considering LPZ's birds suffer from feather plucking perhaps it is) as just difficulty of obtaining.
Thank you for answering a question I had but never had the opportunity to ask. When I saw those parrots at LPZ in 2021, I was like “These birds aren’t looking too hot for how rare they are.” Better than them being sick, I guess.

Waccatee Zoo closed, so its listings can be removed.

Timbavati keeps Yellow-crested Cockatoo, Rosy-faced Lovebird, and "Rainbow" Lorikeets (pretty sure they're Coconut).

Yellow-headed Parrot (21 holders)
Blue & Yellow/Blue & Gold Macaw (61-62 holders)
Red-&-Green/Green-winged Macaw (33 holders)
Aikman Wildlife Adventure in Arcola, Illinois is a holder for the following species:
  • Yellow-headed Parrot
  • Blue & Yellow
  • Green-winged Macaw

Poicephalus
They also had a Meyer's parrot (Poicephalus meyeri) in a small birdcage.

  • Disney's Animal Kingdom has Kea, Galah, and Red-fronted Macaw
  • Popcorn Park Animal Refuge has Goffin's Cockatoo
  • Plumpton Park Zoo has Goffin's Cockatoo, White Cockatoo, and Hyacinth Macaw
  • ZooTampa has Yellow-crested Cockatoo
  • Cape May County Zoo has Salmon-crested Cockatoo. No longer has Sun Parakeet
  • Jenkinson's Aquarium has Salmon-crested Cockatoo, Blue-and-yellow Macaw, and Scarlet Macaw
  • Philadelphia Zoo no longer has Budgerigar nor Olive-headed Lorikeet
  • Bronx Zoo has Budgerigar
  • Lehigh Valley Zoo has Dusky Lory, Coconut Lorikeet, Swainson's Lorikeet, and Sunset Lorikeet
  • Adventure Aquarium has Gray Parrot
  • Naples Zoo has Gray Parrot
  • Zoo Miami has Hawk-headed Parrot
Also National Aquarium only keeps Swainson's Lorikeet currently, but I see that Coconut and Sunset are also listed. Were some of these birds actually identified as these other species or are they just listed as a result of former holdings?

Toledo just sent out all of their Pesquet's Parrots.

I have been told there were still multiple Pesquet's on exhibit just last week - the video in the Toledo thread was from early this month. Going to leave them on unless further confirmation that all have indeed left.

Does anyone know which species of Eclectus Parrot is around now that they have been split?

I believe Moluccan is the most common, but multiple are present - one of the things i need to look into for the next update.

Unclear where this came from offhand - I see only Swainson's as well. I'll have to do some further digging.

The zoo’s show this year is being presented by World Bird Sanctuary - so all of the birds in it actually belong to WBS.

Third-party bird shows are the bane of these threads. o_O

I have more facilities from Florida, Georgia, Hawaii, and Idaho if you want them, these were just the more notable facilities.

I believe Moluccan is the most common, but multiple are present - one of the things i need to look into for the next update.
All of the split species should be present in aviculture in North America, although Papuan and Moluccan will be the majority (probably all pure birds in American zoos will be subspecies of these two). Note that the pre-split subspecies haven't been changed, simply divided into or between species, and in aviculture the subspecies mostly have their own common names. Females of some species/subspecies are distinctive enough to identify visually. However hybrids will be common which complicates things because I'd imagine a lot of zoos simply call their birds "eclectus parrots" with no qualifiers.

I have a post about Eclectus here if it helps any: The Zoochat Photographic Guide to Parrots

This matches what I've generally heard re the NA zoo population.

Indeed unfortunately - thus I will likely list them as Eclectus Parrot sensu lato, but noting species wherever possible to confirm. A further complication is a few facilities only have a male/males, and thus rather difficult to identify to species. I'll see what things are looking like and go from there.

I have a post about Eclectus here if it helps any: The Zoochat Photographic Guide to Parrots

That is quite helpful, thanks for linking it! All the subspecies visuals in one spot is useful for comparison.
