Someone may have already mentioned this, but someone on Reddit discovered an albino Lemur in their game. It may just be a bug, but I'm hoping it isn't.

I'm guessing it's not, and there would be a really rare chance of having an abberant individual. Maybe Plant Zoo shiny hunting will be a thing?
What was this update? Also, what is this talk about pangolins and stuff? I must've missed something.
Pangolins were semi-confirmed at Gamescom though some people (including me) are skeptical that they'll be in. As for the update, it's just to fix bugs in the beta.
Several new animals (including pangolins) were found in the coding of the beat. They aren't 100% confirmed but that data isn't there for no reason.
A new game mode has been announced on Twitter. As far as I can tell, it is simply an offline version of the franchise mode

Yes, after complaints about online stuff I can see why...
I just hope in the full release they try and temper people exploiting the online mode.
I'm impressed that it only took 2 days of complaints to get them to add a whole new mode

Franchise mode is a great idea but I think they have realised it needs work. I suspect they may change it with an expansion/dlc...if they can find a way to make the whole system fairer.
A East Asia theme has been leaked on the reddit, which shows pictures of giant panda, Japanese macaque, and Indian? pangolin. The beta folders leak of the inclusion of these three seems true after all.

I would say it is probably a Chinese pangolin...
I would agree based on the theme, but it does look more like an Indian, no? The Chinese seems a more grayish than yellow color, and its scales are a bit different too.
Indeed, several good ones there. Okapi will be nice, many people glad to see flamingos. Also worth noting that some of the listed genera have many species yet to appear. IE, Panthera could give us Jaguar and Leopard, Tragelaphus has Nyala, Bongo, elands, kudu, etc... We shall see...
